Even if you have been fishing for three hours and haven't gotten anything except poison ivy and sunburn, you're still better off than the worm.
Did you know...in Canada, walleye are called pickerel, jackfish or dore´ while in the U.S. they are commonly called walleyed pike. Walleye are closely related to saugers and belong to the perch family. They are not related to pike.
Three Bedroom Cabins - The Walleye
The Walleye is like new! Remodeled inside and outside in 2001, it's 600 square feet of clean and comfy cabin. In 2013 the Walleye had a new, large picture window installed. The cabin was also outfitted with an air conditioning unit plus a new, smaller flatscreen television with Blue Ray DVD player, no channels. The cabin is level to the lake so sip your morning coffee or cappuccino and enjoy a great view of the water from your kitchen table or deck. This cabin has one queen bedroom, one full bedroom, and one bedroom with twin beds. There is a full sleeper sofa in the living room. The bathroom contains a shower stall, stool, small vanity and sink. Close to the beach area, the kids will love staying in this one.
The dock beckons you to do some fishing, the loons are calling, the woods are lovely. You're in for a great vacation!
Enjoy all of the water toys when you stay at The Wilds Resort. Cruising on this tall paddle boat is just one of the many fun things to do, as one of our guests found out. Tired of paddling? Take the whole family for a cruise in our 20 foot Palm Beach pontoon. Pack a cooler with a little lunch, enjoy a leisurely trip around the lake, cast a line and troll for some walleye or northern, and enjoy the day.
