Did you know...bears begin preparations for over-wintering in the summer, when they begin gorging carbohydrate-rich berries and other foods to put on weight. During this period, they can gain as much as 30 pounds per week.
Five Bedroom Cabin - The Bears Den

We are excited about our three bedroom Bear's Den cabin. The attached Cubs Den, a two bedroom apartment, makes this the ideal spot if you need to accomodate more than one family, or for the large family that needs space.
A beautiful three-season porch graces the Bears Den, and it features a brick woodburning fireplace, TV and VCR, and one-and-a-half baths. The kitchen, dining room and living room were completely remodeled in 2004, and has lovely northwoods decor. All new appliances including a built-in dishwasher and large refrigerator make the kitchen an extra nice place to prepare your meals.
The attached Cubs Den is a fully equipped two bedroom apartment, new in 2001, and features a gas fireplace. Perfect for families or friends who want to stay together,
while offering some additional privacy. (Did we mention the teenagers?) Enjoy a private dock and beach, plus a large yard with lots of shade. Spacious, comfortable, clean and nicely decorated, this one has it all!
The two-bedroom Cubs Den apartment offers a comfortable solution to more than one family who wants to stay together yet needs their privacy, or for the larger family.
This cabin is close to woods and lake, making it an ideal location to enjoy northwoods nature at its best. One of our most popular!
